| Description | In childhood, a number of the risk factors of so-called civilization diseases are emerging, which are fully manifested in adulthood. It is important to identify these factors and to influence the appropriate preventive activities. The chapter contains the results of the research carried out in the sample of primary school pupils. This was a quantitative survey carried out using an anonymous questionnaire, addressed to 100 pupils of a selected school. Several areas of life style (nutrition, physical activity, risk behavior of addiction, sleep, leisure) were mapped. The results show that pupils in the population concerned do not respect the principles of healthy lifestyle to the extent necessary. Their knowledge and habits are average. Emphasis should be placed on appropriate composition and regularity of eating, sufficient drinking regime, strengthening movement habits and reducing the risks of substance abuse. |
