| Description | Inheritance inventories are one of the few sources form which it is possible to reconstruct the popularity, usage or reception of literary works, which were utilized by artists or the commissioners of art works. Using the example of the library collections of the Moravian early modern aristocracy from the 17th and 18th centuries, the paper focuses on the monitoring of the appearance of one of the most important works for artistic production, Ovid’s Metamorphosis. |
