Description The scenic cultural landscape of Moravia. In addition to natural and close-to-nature landscapes, contemporary cultural landscapes with a "historic hub" are gradually becoming a tourist attraction. In the conditions of Moravia, sufficiently large segments of pre-industrial cultural landscape are accepted as tourist attractions, offering an idea of the landscape's appearance before the main wave of the Industrial Revolution, i.e. before 1850. The consequent industrial period and in particular the period of socialist large-scale agricultural production meant a significant homogenization of land use. It still persists and is often escalated by unilateral specialization in oilseed rape and maize. Varied landscapes with small parcels of land (it is not a precondition in the cases of old estates) represent a specific form of cultural heritage. In the territory of historical Moravia, a number of segments of pre-industrial landscape with different levels of preservation have been sought through a special methodology. Large-sized larger areas of these segments can be described as "scenic cultural landscapes", which in the Czech Republic evoke an ancient historical period. Public interest in these landscapes is growing, but proper research and promotion can promote necessary awareness and public attendance.
