| Description | The book deals with the topic continuity and discontinuity of cultural stereotypes about a head of the state in a discourse of lower social classes between period of late Habsburg monarchy (1890-1918) and the first Czechoslovak republic. The research is based on records of trials with people who, under both regimes, were tried by the Regional Court in Uherské Hradiště for insult of the head of a state. The discourse is researched in context with period politics, ethics and economy. |
