Description Religious belief in Prehistory is tightly connected with the day-to-day activities of a man. Cult practices are a reflection of one of the most significant changes in human history - the cultivation of cereals and animal husbandry, which were also the primary food sources of a man in the Neolithic. Securing the food this way reflected a radical change in thinking in the centre of which was fertility, regular rhythm of natural cycles and an infinite alteration of cycles of birth and death. The goal of the lecture is to point out towards the complex spiritual world of a man living 7000 years ago based on examples from Czechia and Slovakia.
