Description The aim of the paper is to present the findings of the dissertation, whose aim was to compare support for school adaptation of immigrant children in the Czech and Norwegian environments in order to understand the process in both countries and to reveal the areas that teachers consider to be crucial. With respect to the main objective, the main research question was formulated: What findings does the comparison of support for school adaptation of foreign children in the Czech and Norwegian environment bring? Bereday's four-step method of comparison was used in the solution (Bereday, 1964; Rabušicová & Záleská, 2016; Vlček, 2015).
