Description The text is a reflection of a well-researched professional publication by Tomáš Rataj Rataje České země ve stínu půlměsíce (Czech lands in the shadow of the crescent, 2002). After the multilateral awards of above-mentioned book author gives a supplement of the items to the subject from among the staff of the Faculty of Arts MU, from which the relevant published until after the release of Rataj´s publication. More she refines with reference to the study of Jan Kumpera (1994) the existence of a translation of the Bible into Turkish initiated by Comenius, namely its printing in the 19th century. In the end it is given the personal noting of the own teaching activities to the topic due to the honoured person of Jan Zouhar personality as a pedagogical pattern.
