Description This expert study is based on the author's original master thesis, which analyses Gioachino Rossini's Stabat Mater and applies the outcome for the needs of receptive education at secondary schools. The study brings suggestions for activities in music lessons, which might be found helpful by pupils who try to understand structures of classical music, whose forms are often extensive and difficult to comprehend at a first sight. Learning musical forms is a specific issue which can be treated with use of complementary, illustrative materials and activities for practicing musical realities. For the usage of analyzed material, a whole new platform was created, functioning under certain given rules. These rules are described in detail here for they are not included in the original master thesis. Thus, the study works also as a supplementary, instructive text and builds on the author's research activities in the field of music analysis and music didactics.
