Description | The submitted monograph deals with the topic of twice exceptionality, i.e. the presence of special educational needs, mostly specific learning disabilities, combined with talent or extraordinary talent in the pupil. In the first chapters, basic theoretical concepts related to specific learning disabilities, their characteristics and specific manifestations in younger school age are characterized. In addition, the terminology of talent and extraordinary talent, its identification and specific manifestations in education are defined. The main part of the monograph is in a qualitative research survey carried out with ordinary and special educators, which aimed to map out the possibilities of adjusting the educational process, the teacher's approach and the utilization of appropriate educational strategies to make the educational process of pupils with dual exceptionalism more efficient. |
