| Description | Social Education as a field is connected to a wide range of helping professions. Although the profession of social pedagogue has still not been successfully introduced into the catalog of regulated pedagogical professions, it has a significant professional influence in the areas of school and extracurricular pedagogy, social counseling and social work, the Ministry of Justice, the commercial sphere or human resources. This text has the nature of a theoretical study. The content of the text is a description of the relationship between social pedagogy and leisure time to the personal and social development of an individual in society. We start from the assumption that the chosen issue creates conditions for increasing the quality of everyday life of various social groups. The Department of Social Pedagogy of the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University has long been shaping the field of Social Pedagogy with a significant connection to leisure time pedagogy. Its staff continuously maps students and their personal and social development in the direction of their subsequent professional employment. |
