Description The extended methodological materials of the HOBIT Program are focused on the prevention of cerebrovascular diseases, particularly on stroke prevention. The material is intended for teachers of the 2nd level of primary schools to teach the subject of health education (or biology) and teachers of secondary schools (especially grammar schools and secondary schools with a medical focus). Cerebrovascular diseases are one of the most common diseases today. Given that prevention plays an important role in reducing the incidence of cerebrovascular diseases, it is very important that basic information on this prevention is provided to primary and secondary school pupils. In 2014, the HOBIT Program was created for this purpose. It is an innovative educational program designed for primary school pupils and students of grammar schools. The purpose of the program is to provide students with very simple information that leads to saving lives in the event of a heart attack and stroke. Pupils learn to respond to the symptoms of these diseases through multimedia and simulation education so that they are able to save a life. Over time, it has proved appropriate to extend this educational concept with additional materials that should serve to expand information on the issue, should help teachers with repetition and fixation, and should strengthen the motivation of pupils and students to take an interest in cerebrovascular disease prevention. The material consists of 36 worksheets or methodological topics, which include crossword puzzles, quizzes, puzzles, games, proposals for simulation lessons and also ideas on how to make aids for lessons on a given topic.
