Description | Frictions and conflict between Czechs and Germans create a milieu in which people perceived National Houses as “strongholds” and “bastions”. On the one hand, the proposed paper will deal with the two-ply appearance of these buildings, which represented the national community externally in the public space, while inside providing community members with privacy, comfort, facilities and space for national development. |
