Citation
Description Both Germanic and Armenian were, in their earlier phases, subjected to the shift. In the paper we demonstrate that in both languages the left fricative in the shift blocked the shift and that Germanic data show us that the spirantization of the clusters plosive + t appeared before the shift, unlike in Armenian.
