Description | The webinar was designed for students of Ennsat/University Rennes 1 with the goal to help students develop strategies of adaptation and integration while studying and working abroad. Students learnt to set expectations in the dimension of personal development, professional development, and cultural growth, and improved their skills of reflection on set expectations while abroad. Students gained knowledge and understanding of how their cultural perceptions, frame of reference, and other cognitive as well as affective mechanisms and behaviors influence their perception of other people and their culture. Apart from the general culture approach, students further gained knowledge in specific culture, i.e. Czech culture, and developed skills in intercultural communication in culturally complex situations. |
