Description In the current conservation and restoration practice, the trend of minimizing interventions within the so-called preventive conservation and the principles of reversibility of all used procedures is being promoted. This heritage procedure is intended for all conservators-restorers and laboratory staff dealing with the protection of ceramic collection objects. The practical procedures of conservation and restoration of ceramics from the acceptance of objects to their storage in the depository are demonstratively shown on the example of selected examples of medieval vessels in complete form in or shard material. New possibilities of replenishing losses using self-hardening modeling materials, which can replace traditionally used materials (gypsum), are shown. The possibility of using removable accessories created using 3D printing technology is also discussed.
