| Description | The text presents political correctness in Slavic languages (in particular, Slavic phraseology) as a preference for a certain means of communication over another, considered unsuitable for use in society due to an offensive or negative connotation, and as an effort to remove inappropriate words and expressions from the language. In this study, we pay attention to some phraseological units containing lexemes with a negative connotation, e.g. in terms of ethnicity and race (racism), sex (gender), which are considered politically incorrect due to this fact. |
