| Description | In the post, we will focus on dialect shifts in the use of expressions in two generations of the inhabitants of selected municipalities of eastern Bohemia, namely around Starý Hrozenkov and Velká nad Veličkou. The text was based on the results of a bachelor thesis. First, we will present the theme and aim of the work, then we will address the dialect, its division, and a brief description of the dialect group under examination. In the analysis of the practical part, we will then become familiar with the results of the questionnaire investigation, on the basis of which we will describe whether there have been any changes in the use of dialling expressions in the older and younger generations in the area studied. |
