| Description | The workshop was devoted to the issue of translation from Czech to Polish and vice versa. The first part was devoted to the specifics of audiovisual translation (translation of film dialogues, translation of subtitles). This part was opened by the presentations "Specifics of the Audiovisual Translation" (Dr. Roman Madecki) and "Annotated Translation of Subtitles for the Polish Short Film – Legendy Polskie: Operacja Bazyliszek" (Monika Belanová, student of Polish Studies). The second part entitled "From Collaboration to Cooperation" was devoted to specific issues of artistic translation and had the character of a creative translation workshop (this part was accompanied by Mgr. Michal Przybylski). The workshop was attended by students of the bachelor’s program in Polish Studies and the master's program in Slavonic Studies at the FF MU, as well as academic staff of the Department of Slavonic Studies at the FF MU. The workshop was held within the framework of the specific research project "Translational Equivalence as a Partial Problem of Cross-Cultural Communication in the Slavic Cultural Space". |
