On Monday, November 7, 2022, from 6 p.m., we invite you to the opening of the photo exhibition People & Throwup/Asian series by POST177, which is moving to the Sibiř gallery in Brno (Dukelská tř. 50, Brno-sever)! This is a selection of images from twelve Asian countries that Post177 has repeatedly visited since 2015. On these trips, he made a unique archive in which his throw-up meets everyday events in the streets of cities of ten million, in seaside villages, in slums, but also in less accessible places, which the rugged Asian nature has. The selection that will be seen at the exhibition is aimed at ubiquitous people. He tries to capture the diversity of Asian peoples in close contact with the throwup and, at the same time, tries to capture the ordinariness of the often very unusual way of life that the selected Asian destinations honestly offer. Through this exhibition, it will be possible to see the streets of big cities such as Indonesia's Jakarta and Yogyakarta, Thailand's Bangkok, Philippines' Manila, Vietnam's Saigon, Hanoi and Danang, Ceylon's Colombo, Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur, Japan's Tokyo and Osaka, Taiwan's Taipei, South Korea's Seoul, autonomous Singapore and Hong Kong, which was still autonomous at the time, but also the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, and many other places where the throw-up met a person and thus, of course, a person with a throw up. The exhibition itself lasts until November 30, 2022.
