| Description | In this intervention, we present several lists of key competencies required of future teachers and the content of a few related literature courses. The excerpts from the selected literary texts and their reading (physical, cognitive and interactive) allow students to develop their key competencies, most notably cultural awareness and expression, but also the competence to communicate in a foreign language which remains the fundamental goal of foreign language teaching.
