| Description | The music movement workshop took place as a part of the Music Didactic Day event in Olomouc at the invitation of the Department of Music Education there under the leadership of Mgr. Jaromír Synek, PhD. During the day, 2 workshops were held, namely for primary education students of the University of Olomouc in the morning and for interested music teachers from Olomouc and surroundings in the afternoon. During the seminar, within the theme of skeletons, memory of the dead, and the coming winter, the participants experienced and tried out several approaches to active and creative music and movement education emphasizing the mutual connection of music, words and movement, including elementary movement improvisation and composition, instrumental accompaniment to a song, body percussion, phonogestics, active music listening and dance interpretation of a composition by C. Saint-Saens. |
