Description Since the beginning of human civilization, music has been a world in which ceremonies and dances, invocation and listening meet. With music we can be completely alone in our own room or in a gathering of a hundred thousand, and it is there for us from the cradle to the grave. With music, we associate great symphonies and a simple children's song, we find in it the victories and losses of professional artists, but also the joy of the interplay of many amateur ensembles. The Czech Philharmonic has added musical workshops for seniors to the programs for children and teenagers from various groups. With an emphasis on the shared experience of working with simple musical instruments, listening and moving; all those interested could find their place in them, regardless of musical background skills and experience. The workshops were primarily intended for participants over 60 years of age, but they were also intended as inspiration for caregivers, volunteers and social workers. It was mainly about the joy of new social contacts, the experience of listening to music, the connections found between rhythm, tempo, movement, instrument colors and the silence between notes.
