| Description | The study features the work of Orhan Pamuk with a focus on his reflection of the basic authors of the Russian compound (especially Dostoyevsky, Chekhov and Nabokov). In this context, inspirative scholarly texts by Ivo Pospíšil (areal studies; concepts reader, world literature) are used. The text also contains a partial comparison of Pamuk's work Snow with the work Immortality by Milan Kundera. In the end, the types of reader according to U.
