Description The study features the work of Orhan Pamuk with a focus on his reflection of the basic authors of the Russian compound (especially Dostoyevsky, Chekhov and Nabokov). In this context, inspirative scholarly texts by Ivo Pospíšil (areal studies; concepts reader, world literature) are used. The text also contains a partial comparison of Pamuk's work Snow with the work Immortality by Milan Kundera. In the end, the types of reader according to U. Eco (model, empirical) are discussed and the reader is also mentioned as the author
