Description | The article analyzes the key competence of Cultural Awareness and Expression to clarify its structure and to characterize the opportunities for implementing it in educational practice. Emphasis is placed on the creative nature of this competence and its relationship with cognitive processes. This implies a close link between this competence and cultural content, which is crucial in its development. Building on the historical development of the concept of expression in philosophy and in aesthetics, a theoretical model is proposed to explain the creative processes leading to the development of this key competence in the context of the historical development of culture. Based on this model, the possibilities and limitations of examining and evaluating the manifestations of the competence Cultural Awareness and Expression in educational practice are discussed. |
