Description | The project aims to implement our newly developed method for the unique molecular identifiers (UMIs) introduction into oligonucleotides. This method can be used for RNA/DNA next generation sequencing (NGS) libraries preparation. The structure of the generated sequencing libraries with the introduced UMIs allows for a downstream long-reads reconstruction and PCR error correction resulting in accurately quantified ‚phased‘ genomic sequences or full-length transcripts. The potential range of the technology applications is very broad, and includes various fields, such as medical genomics, pharmacogenomics, molecular diagnostics, cancer genomics, and others. In this project, we focused on applying the method for the analysis 16S RNA sequencing (metagenomics) and immunogenomics analysis (TCR and BCR repertoires). |
