Description The thesis deals with the issue of radioactivity and its impact on the environment in primary school education. The topic of the thesis is related to my bachelor's thesis and I chose it again because of its cross-curricular character, which touches not only physics but also geology, chemistry and human biology. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the problems of ionizing radiation, radioactivity, its sources, and its influence on the environment are discussed in the form of a literature search. The theoretical part also includes the position of the issue in the valid curriculum documents. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the proposal of teaching on the topic of radioactivity in the Czech Republic, radon, and the use of radioactivity. The lesson was prepared for a basic type of lesson. Based on the study of literature, teaching aids (worksheets, cards, rock, and mineral samples) were created, which the pupils worked with throughout the lesson. The practical part also includes an analysis of the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education, pupils' reflection on the lesson, and a subsequent evaluation of its contribution to broadening attitudes to the subject through the five-letter questions.
