Description One-word equivalents (univerbized names) of multi-word expressions (collocation) tend to be used in the spoken texts. But some of them are used in journalistic and professional texts. Then they demonstrate the mitigation of differences between formal and less formal or informal expression, and they themselves move from the substandard linguistic layer to the level of the colloquial Czech or to the level of standard (neutral) literary Czech. Sometimes the context of the occurrence of the one-word expressions and the context of the occurrence of the corresponding collocations ceases to differ significantly, for example průmyslovka and průmyslová škola, přijímačky and přijímacízkoušky. We will now pay attention to the one-word equivalents of the collocations, that are used especially in conversations about school topics. We compare usage of them in spoken and written texts, too.
