| Description | This is a small long-term exhibition in the Anthropos Pavilion in Brno, department of Moravské zemské muzeum (Moravian Regional Museum) organized on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the amateur archaeologist Martin Horák. The exhibition was opened by doc. Martin Oliva from MZM with a lecture on famous amateur archaeologists in Moravia. The exhibition acquaints visitors not only with findings from the Middle Paleolithic period, but mainly with the procedures of amateur archaeologists: from the discovery, through washing and recording of the findings to the professional identification and publication of the findings. |
