Description The quality of preschool education has been discussed since the end of the 20th century. The OECD perceives it on two levels: procedural and structural. A quality teacher is the main predictor of the quality of preschool education. Several competence models have been created in the Czech Republic, which emphasize the quality of the teacher as a reflective practitioner. In this respect, the requirements for the teacher's skills are also formulated in the innovative Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education.
