Description The Salaška River flows from the ridge of the Chřiby Mts. across the belts of Carpathian flysch rocks to the Dolnomoravský úval graben to the town of Uherské Hradiště. It flows through the region of the partisan movement during the World War II, through the Wallachian village of Salaš, the pilgrimage site of Velehrad, the Great Moravian archeological archaeoskanzeen Modra, so that in Uherské Hradiště, within sight of the monuments, perhaps the metropolis of the Great Moravian Empire flows into the largest Moravian river, Morava.
