Description | In this study, we will examine two complex concepts, transcendence, and transgression, included in the novel output of a Swiss author Jaccques Chessex. His provocative, ambiguous style represents a world full of dualities which are connected, complement each other and offer a new point of view on the three principal topics of his creation: woman, death, and God. Both concepts appear as the center of gravity of the chessex's triptych and clarify his philosophy and thinking. The analysis leans on the novel La Confession du Pasteur Burg and shows the trinity and its connection to transcendence and transgression perceived by Jacques Chessex. |
