Description Dublin Core is a metadata scheme for description of (not only) electronic resources. It is being used in libraries, universities and government institutions worldwide. The 1.1 version of this scheme intorduces necessary changes to the definition of it's 15 elements. Czech version of this standard, created and maintained by the Masaryk University, makes the standard available nationwide. The infrastructure needed to support the use of Dublin Core will be created in cooperation on the testbed project of the National Library of the Czech Republic.
