Description	A first part of contribution presents contemporary trends in psychology of adolescence (social representations of adolescence, identity formation, a meaning of moratorium and commitment). A second part informs about typical psychosocial characteristics of contemporary Czech adolescents in comparison to adolescents from other European countries (e.g. daily activities, future expectations)
