Description During 1995-1997 period 3 of polyphagous glasshouse Liriomyza species were recorded in the Czech Republic outside glasshouses: Liriomyza bryoniae (in 17 samples), Liriomyza strigata (in 10 samples), both native palearctic species, and Liriomyza huidobrensis (in 5 samples) - originally nearctic and neotropic species. Confirmed host plants are listed. Possibility of overwintering of puparia of Liriomyza huidobrensis outdoor in the Czech Republic was discussed.
