| Description | This paper evaluates some of the existing psychological research on internet users interpersonal communication. In a number of texts the need for further, and at the same time more systematic and deeper, research in this area is echoed. How should this research be organised? This is an attempt to realise differentiated quantitative research, more differentiated qualitative research, among others, in the field of more specifically formulated (set) communicative variables and characteristics. In a 2003 survey, data was gathered from 681 children and adolescents aged 12 to 20. The questionnaire was administered in written form as well as through the internet. In the final discussion, some views (for future research in the given field) are indicated and meta-methodological questions are formulated. |
