Effect of the Creep Deformation on the Microstructure and Indentation Response of Leaded Brass

Description The microstructure of CuZn36 alloy containing 2,5 wt% of Pb was studied. The samples were prepared by means of costant tensile stress creeep in the temperature range 523-823K and under stresses from 5 to 50 MPa. The samples were studied by methods of analytical scanning electron microscopy (SEM)and with energy dispersive X-ray analysis. DSI tests were performed to measure the indentation response of individual phases.
