| Description | The study concentrates on the way spatial and temporal adverbials of all possible realization types used together with finite verb phrases contribute to the expression of the spatio-temporal setting in English authentic face-to-face private conversation. The study is corpus-based (London-Lund Corpus) and the research has been influenced also by the FSP theory with an attempt to identify the possible dynamic semantic functions that can be performed by spatial and temporal adverbials in the further development of communication. |
