Description The paper deals with some questions of literary education at basic schools after certyfying new curriculum - General Educational Programme for Basic Education. Seven subjects - which follow from analysis of curriculum - are mentioned: terminology, the school educational programmes, educational strategies in relation with the key competences, readers, vertical and horizontal structures of the curriculum and the cross-section themes. All these - not quite new - subjects have new importance for the methodology of literary education, for the preparation of intending teachers in actual curricular context.
