Description The study of the Czech sentences with pronouns to and takový proves that both pronouns can refer to the language expression of quality,features, characterisation. Pronoun to refers to the quality expressed by adjectives, by predicative substantives or by substantives with adjectives, by phraseologism, by passive form of the verbs. Pronoun to can be situated only in the beginning of the sentence or behind particle or coordinating conjunction. Pronoun to is a part of the sentence structures To Reger nebyl. To také/taky byl/je/bude. To taky. To (jistě) ano/ne. Pronoun takový refers to the quality expressed by adjectives or adverbs, not by passive form of the verbs and probable not by phraseology. Now matter where takový is situated in the sentence. The sentence structures Schroeder takový nebyl. My takoví nebudeme. and others were found in the Czech National Corp.
