Description Waldensian movement in the Middle Ages represented a very popular reaction to the contemporary social order and keeps its popularity until today when it exists as one of the denominations of the Protestant Church. The article deals with possible connections between the Waldensians and the Czech reform movement at the beginning of the 15th century while paying special attention to representatives of the so-called Dresden School who were traditionally considered the link between the Waldensians and the Hussites. It analyzes parallels between the Waldensian emphasis on free preaching and the preaching and missionary orientation of the Dresden School.
