Description In the paper we find out what is the influence of leisure time on adolescents health or hazard behaviour. The fourth context of adolescents development is overlapped and completed with the family, school and schoolmates. Leisure time performs educational, health and social function. It contributes to formation of relationships, it helps to strengthen the relationships, it develops abilities, strengthens moral character, satisfies human needs and forms value interests. The way of spending free time of children and adolescents is influenced by social environment. Especially strong is the influence of the family, company and contemporaries. Parents act as examples for their children, either positive or negative. Families who do not perform their educational function do not care how their children spend their time. Schools, centres of leisure time and other educational establishments are in position to reduce this deficiency. Salesian youth centres have for object to be an important part in spending free time of children and adolescents. Therefore we focus mainly on Salesian educational style and we analyse contemporary position of Salesian youth centres. We compare Salesian educational conception with other conceptions of leisure time activities. Pedagogical and psychological aspects take into consideration age and individual particularities and also their respecting.
