| Description | This research report is aimed at mapping the basic characteristics of foreigner employment in the Czech Republic. The basis of this is aimed at evaluating of position of foreigners in the labour market and the possibilities of their integration. An introduction dealing with the current conditions of foreigner employment and legislation concerning entrance, residence and employment in this country. The analytic part deals with the development of foreigner employment in time, in relation to some selected indicators of socio-economic development and employment of foreigners from the viewpoint of particular types of economic activity, source countries of work migration, sectors of the labour market and significant sociodemographic characteristics. The report is theoretically based on chosen explanation migration theories, particularly on neoclassical economic theory, dual labour market theory and migration network theory. At the conclusion describes the possible role of employment policy in the process of integration for foreigners. |
