Description The article presented some partial results of the research intent on the reception of lyrical texts. It focused on primary school pupils and on the two standpoints which influenced the reception: special dispositions and reading books. It notes the way and the level of subjective experience and understanding of symbolic character of two lyrical poems (F. Halas, J. Vladislav).
