Description In the past few years, debates of language teaching methodologists often focus on how children with learning disabilities are also handicapped at learning foreign languages. To this undisputable fact, not only the language methodology including its research on learning and teaching foreign languages should respond, but also the authors of language textbooks when creating modern class materials. The paper introduces the results of an analysis of several textbooks which have focused on efficient aids for children with learning disabilities in textbooks of German as a foreign language.
