Description Study is devoted to the issue of teaching methods with a focus on methods of the active work of pupils. The study authors took as a project, which should form the processing of their wider serve readers, not only theoreticians in the field of education but mainly teachers of all levels school. The first chapter is focused on the explanation of important terms of the theory of learning activities of students. Activity is addressed from a gender perspective. We also described the motivation for the activity. The second largest chapter is devoted to methods of the active work of pupils. In this part we deal with the priority issues and the provisions of these procedures. Attention has been devoted to useful methods in teaching at primary and secondary schools. Contribution of this part of the work we see mainly in modification of classification of teaching methods, which may get started debate of experts who deal with this issue. For each method is also provided concrete examples of possible use in practice. Third chapter is deal with the implementation methods of the active work of students in the tuition. In the last fourth chapter are presented concrete examples of methodological sheets and a few practical ideas for teaching, which may be the inspiration for educators in practice to write their own projects with the using of teaching methods which develop the active work of pupils.
