| Description | The paper deals with the transition from oral culture to the visual one, which occurred during the Middle Ages and which prevailed also in the Czech milieu at the beginning of the15th century in connection with the spread of the Hussite reformist ideas. Several manuscript examples demonstrate various means of communication that were employed in order to influence the reception of the transmitted message. In addition, the reasons that allowed for this change are examined. |
