| Description | Faculty of Education Masaryk University is the first faculty in the Czech republic that gained accreditation for the course Health Education. In spite of the fact that the Brno Faculty of Education holds the fifth annual conference on School and Health for the 21st Century this year, it is necessary to emphasize again the necessity and urgency of implementing Health Education courses into teaching programmes of Faculties of Education. That is because there are still some opinions present which claim that such a course is not necessary. The article presents results from an annonymous inquiry which requested students of Brno Faculty of Education. Students expressed their opinions on the Health Education lectures and the importance of these lectures for their knowledge and skills as for future teachers. |
