Description The article is concerned with deaf counseling in Germany, and involves work with children who receive audiological counseling and those who are placed in an early care centre. Data were collected in Pädoaudiologische Beratungsstelle (children audiology counseling service) by institution Hör-Sprachzentrum Heidelberg/Neckargemünd, Staatliche Schule für Gehörlose, Schwerhörige und Sprachbehinderte (Hearing and speech centre HD/NGD; State school for the deaf, hard of hearing and persons with speech defects) in Heidelberg, Germany. The results have been obtained during a research.
