Description | Foreign language reading comprehension is one of the four basic language skills acquired by pupils in foreign language classes. However, for pupils with learning disabilities, reading comprehension (in both foreign and mother tongue) represents a major obstacle. The aim of the paper is to present particular current research issues and an outline of possible difficulties that can be encountered while dealing with reading texts in foreign language classes including pupils with learning disabilities, as well as to present several possibilities of utilizing elements of drama in education to compensate for, solve, or remediate these difficulties. |
