With respect to the differentiated roles in the contemporary landscape and in relation to early warning and crisis management, it is possible to divide the landscape into the natural (or primary) structure, economic (or secondary) structure, human (or tertiary) structure and spiritual (or quaternary) structure. The method of contextual cartography is used as a tool for appropriate data selection from geodatabases and their visualization in the crises management. The context service enables to adapt map content in accordance with current situation and role of commander in given step of rescue intervention.
